God our Father,

We come to You to rest in Your love.

You know our lives, our pace, and our weariness—and You invite us to come.

As we pause, meet us through Your Spirit.

Form us to be with You, to become more like Jesus, and to live as you are calling us.

As we enter this new year together, lead us into fruitfulness, renewal, and deeper unity as a church.

We trust You with our lives and place ourselves again in Your hands.

In the name of Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life.

In January, we are starting a new teaching series called “Rooted.” We will explore how to develop a Rule of Life through Scripture, Sabbath, and Prayer — and how it helps us become more like Jesus.

On January 25th, we’ll celebrate one year since Bright City Church launched — and we’ll share vision for what’s next. We’re calling it PLANTED.

Bright City is still being planted. Outside partners have helped make our launch possible, and we’re deeply grateful for that. But in this next season, God is inviting us who call Bright City family to take ownership of the future He’s growing here.

PLANTED is about becoming rooted in Jesus, established in our community, and ready to bear fruit for years to come — so that more people can experience life in Jesus.
