Volunteer

Where will you serve?

Every person and role matters in the “body of Christ” (1 Corinthians 12). We are grateful for the individuals in our church family that selflessly give of their time to serve on our teams. We believe that volunteering does something both in us and for those around us, while helping the church function at its best.

If you call Bright City your church home, we would love to get you plugged in to one of our teams. Below, explore the roles on our Sunday Teams or Engagement Teams. Let us know where you want to start serving through our Volunteer Interest Form.

Sunday Teams

A group of young children and a woman, likely a teacher or instructor, sitting on a gymnasium or classroom floor, engaging in an educational activity involving cards or papers laid out on the floor.
A group of musicians performing on stage, with a man playing an acoustic guitar and singing into a microphone, wearing a hat and light-colored jacket, accompanied by other band members playing instruments.
Two women standing in the doorway of a building, smiling and holding cups of coffee.
Two young men working at a computer in an office, with coffee cups on the desk.
Smiling man wearing a dark Ohio State cap and jacket, opening a large black shipping box outdoors.

Engagement Teams

Two young girls smiling and holding paintbrushes while standing outdoors near a red wooden fence, with other children and adults painting in the background, during daytime.
A black and white photograph of a camera mounted on a tripod against a dark background, with various cables and equipment visible.
People at an outdoor fall festival or farmers market with tents, pumpkins, and children, set against trees with colorful autumn leaves.
Five people sitting on chairs in a panel discussion, smiling and engaging with each other. There are microphones on stands behind them, a black curtain backdrop, and items such as cups, notebooks, and a water bottle near their feet.
