Week 08
Do As Jesus Did

Following Jesus involves more than knowing the Bible, staying busy at church, or comparing ourselves with others. The goal is to become more like Him—in our character, attitudes, relationships, and everyday choices.

In Ephesians 4:11-32, Paul shows us that this transformation happens through loving, truthful community. Jesus gives us spiritual leaders to equip us and a spiritual family to help us grow.

Becoming like Jesus means putting off our old way of life, being renewed in our minds, and putting on the new. We look beneath our behavior to what we are believing, desiring, and trusting. Through confession, we stop pretending and return to the truth of who God is, what He has done, and who we are in Christ.

We become more like Jesus as His truth and love transform our lives through community.
