You are invited to join us this Sunday! Our gatherings take place at Big Walnut Intermediate School and always include worship, teaching, and prayer. If it’s your first time, don’t forget to stop by our Connect Table to say hello — we have a gift for you!
Kid City programming is available for kids up through 5th grade.

Who We Are
Bright City is a brand new church that launched in Sunbury, Ohio in January 2025. We’re here because we want to help more people experience life in Jesus. We meet Sundays at 9AM at Big Walnut Intermediate School.
Our vision is to build a healthy community that desires to follow Jesus in every part of life — by being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did. From our very beginning, families moved to Sunbury and others stepped in locally because they believed God was at work here. We want to join in what he’s already doing and contribute to the good of the Big Walnut community.

2025 Bible Reading Plan
At Bright City, one of our church family commitments is to walk with Jesus daily. This year, we want to provide a resource to do that with a Bible reading plan called BREAD.
BREAD is a 365 day plan with small sections of Scripture assigned each day. It has been organized thematically and can be started, paused, or restarted on any day.
The acronym BREAD (which stands for Be Still, Read, Encounter, Apply, Devote) is a method for meeting with God in the pages of the Bible — a modern take on the ancient practice of “lectio divina.”
